Diamond Packaging took home two awards in the 2011 FSEA Gold Leaf Awards Competition for foil stamping, embossing, and other specialty effects. Competing against hundreds of entries from around the country, Diamond earned recognition by winning one Gold Leaf award and one Silver Leaf award, which were given out during the FSEA•IADD Joint Conference at the Monte Carlo Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. The competition, which is sponsored by the Foil & Specialty Effects Association (FSEA), recognizes creativity and superior execution of designs that reflect positively on the industry as a whole. Entries are judged on several criteria including design, execution, and level of difficulty.

Diamond won a Silver Leaf award in the “Difficult Application on a Folding Carton” category for Elizabeth Arden’s White Diamonds Gift Set. The carton features metallized polyester board and intricate embossing accents. The carton was offset printed with light transparent gold, dark transparent gold (over light gold), dense black, and opaque white inks, in-line with UV high gloss coating. Exquisite dome-embossed round diamonds add to the beauty and reinforce the White Diamonds brand. Diamond’s QuikSet design provides an attractive alternative to set-up boxes, featuring direct application of graphics and stamping or embossing, flat shipping and storage, and easy set-up. Diamond Contract Manufacturing (DCM) provided all of the fulfillment, including adding pad stiffeners to the base and lid, fully assembling vacuum form trays, and polybagging the units.

Diamond also won a Gold Leaf award in the “Calendar” category for its Diamond Packaging 2012 Calendar with a jukebox concept.
